New Job

The time has come for me to add another line to the resume.  My new position has no salary and no bonuses, terrible hours, no days off, and lots of contact with hazardous materials (ha!).  But, this guy is my boss, there is no dress code, there is lots of praise (i.e., slobbery kisses), the experiences are unmatchable, and the rewards will be immense.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my friends at TK.  They were and continue to be very supportive of my decision.  I may not be getting a paycheck anymore, but I am still a part of the TK family.

I feel so fortunate to have a husband and family that supports my decision to stay at home.  I love being the primary caretaker for Travis and am looking forward to all of the fun activities that we will get to do during the day.  Staying at home is harder than I ever imagined, but also so much better.

Chief Domestic Officer Extraordinaire ....  here I come!!!

Xoxo,
Gara

  1. Yay for you Gara! It is such a blessing to be at home with your little one full time. After having done both (working for 9 months after Sadie was born, and now staying home for the last 10 months), I don't regret being home at all. I know Sadie so much better now, and we're able to enjoy so much more peaceful time as a family of three then we did before. I do miss working (and you may as well), but the payoffs are tremendous for all three of you! Congratulations on your career decision! May it be met with great enjoyment! :)
