I know I've said it before, but it's just good to say it again: Brandon is seriously the best daddy! A couple weeks ago he woke up and told T they were going to the zoo! We had a heat repreive and so it was likely a person could exit the house without sweating immediately. I immediately thought of all the things I was going to accomplish while they were gone. I started packing his bag and making lunch and then Travis asked "Baby Sister go see animals???" Uh, excuse me, you mean you want us to go? He seemed adamant, and I'm just not one to disappoint! Weather was good so why not?? We had a wonderful time, and I'm so grateful that we went. We ran into three other new families of four who had the same idea! The Grants met us and we spent a little time with them before everybody headed home for naps. We did some crazy singing and tickling to keep our little man awake on the drive home!
The lion was especially vocal that day.
T about pulled out a handful of B's chest hair! He said "no like lion!"
Yummy picnic. We ate sandwiches and she ate her fingers! Delish!
Both babies were awesome! So stinking blessed by our little monkeys!
A few weekends ago we spent the weekend at the Gaylord for our annual Texas Alliance Foundation meeting. For the past couple of years, I have acted as hotel liaison and do all of the group reservations, negotiations, etc. I don't know what I was thinking this year when I said that the whole fam was coming!! Once I got everything packed and loaded, it looked like we were moving in! Two pack-n-plays, a stroller, two carseats, two adults, toys, clothes, burp rags, etc. made for a crammed SUV! The kids actually did fabulous - good behavior and sleep, and we all had a great and relaxing time. Aunt MoMo came and hung out with us all day Saturday so that we could attend meetings - that was a huge blessing! It was a miracle that all 5 of us (Aunt MoMo too) got a little nap on Saturday!
Shouldn't have even packed toys for the little man.
or the little woman. Yes, that is her chilling on the coffee table/ottoman.
Pool time and cabana babies!
Miss THANG is a little too cool for school with Melissa. Doing a little dance to Glamourous!
I'm a happily-married super-blessed retired attorney who stays at home with the sweetest little prince and princess. I love God, my family, my friends, photography and design, shopping, travel, and some occasional tv.
