Happy 3 Month Birthday!

You've had a busy month, baby girl!  You started giggling and rolling from front to back.  You look like you are going to roll on your tummy any time now.  You are so laid back and happy, and I am so thankful for both my babies!  You have a sweet little baby doll with blonde hair (I was being optimistic when I ordered it from amazon.com many months ago) that you love to chew on, but you find your fingers and hands most delicious!  You are a great eater, but I can't watch you eat much because I look down and smile and then you smile back and then we get the giggles and then milk just goes everywhere!  Priceless, but messy!  You have outgrown all of your 3 month clothes, but are still wearing your Costco 1-2 diapers.  And just when I don't think I could possibly love you any more, you start sleeping thru the night.  Praise JESUS!!!

Maryn,
Your mom just sent me a text that tomorrow my letter for your 3 month birthday was due.  I haven't even started it, and I guess she has been a little busy these last 3 months to remind me.  I am here at the airport getting ready to fly back to Lubbock.  I just left your house or I meant to say Travis's house... that's what he calls it because you weren't here when the house was being built and even though he didn't get the yellow room he wanted, it is an awesome home for you and one of these days maybe he will call it Travis and his baby sister's house, but for now it’s just his house.  :)

I'm always anxious to get back to Pop, but part of me would have been perfectly fine just staying right there holding you and playing with Travis.
Pop and I love you very much and you remind me so much of your mom when she was a baby. I never thought I could love anyone as much as I love your mom, once again I was WRONG.  Maryn, you will always have a very special part of my heart.  A baby girl from my BABY girl...awesome!! You are a beautiful little one and I know that you will grow up to be just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside.
I am so BLESSED that God gave me the opportunity to watch you come into this world, that was a day I will cherish forever.  You are a blessing in every way!!
I can’t wait to teach you the things that I know.  Things I learned from great women that you will never meet in this world.  But someday when you meet them many many years from now….. You can say my Lovey taught me that…and they will say I taught it to your Lovey.
****A grandma is warm hugs and sweet memories. She remembers all of your accomplishments and forgets all of your mistakes. She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true. She always loves you, no matter what. She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her. She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles. She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you’ll become!
 I love you so much.
Lovey
