Technology is ahhh-mazing!

For comparison, here is Travis's 3D shot.  These were taken at exactly the same point in pregnancy.

Haircut #4 - Before Picture

T was sporting a new 'do during his Spring Break pics (more to come!), but I wanted to get his "before" picture up here.  He and his dada went to the beauty shop just the two of them while I was shooting in Dallas.  So proud of my boys!  They did a great job, but the stylist not so much.  It was so ridiculously crooked - I can't believe I didn't get a good picture of his lopsided bangs.  Lovey and I squared him up when we got to Lubbock, and he is good to go now!!

BEFORE

AFTER

Trust me - it is much better now...

29 Weeks

I started this fun little weekly update at this point in my pregnancy with Travis, and I thought it would be fun to see the comparison between pregnancies.  CANNOT for the life of me figure out where the last 23ish weeks went what with the vomiting, the moving, the holidays, the house building, the photography business, and the toddler.... WOWSER!!

How far along?: 29 weeks. But measuring almost 32 weeks. Super human uterus growth!!
Total weight gain: I was apparently still super vain at this point with Travis because I was already "intentionally omitting" it.  I ended up gaining 56 lbs. with him, and it looks like I'm headed for half a hundred again.  I'm up 30 so far.  I just do pregnant really big apparently - I think I could eat celery the whole time and still pack on the pounds.  I'm not gonna test my celery theory though so don't judge....
How big is baby?: Books say 2.5 lbs., but doctor guesses running large again
Maternity clothes?: Most definitely. I still try to wear my pre-preg track suits, but they get pretty obscene with the 3 inches of bare midriff going on...
Stretch marks?: Yes, all of my purple friends are back and they've brought new friends!
Sleep?: Not too bad considering my toddler gets up at the butt crack of dawn and has two new molars to show for his spring break.  I still love my snoogle!
Best moment this week?: Seeing the roof go on the house and knowing that we will be in there in no time.  I'm a little sad that Miss Maryn isn't getting her room all decorated right now, but such is life!  She and Travis will have an awesome house for the rest of their at-home years and that is what is important!
Movement?: She is a little spaz - I love it!  With T, I was sitting at a desk so I really got to know his total daytime patterns.  I hardly have time to settle down and enjoy her wiggles until about bedtime.  She usually puts on a good show about 9 pm.
Food cravings?: I've been drinking a ton of juice lately.  And sweet tarts.  And cinnamon rolls.  :)
Labor signs?: None.
Belly button in or out?: Flat.
What I miss: Not getting up to pee at night.
What I'm looking forward to: 3D Ultrasound.  We did T's at 29w3d, and so we will be doing M's soon.
Milestone: Getting registered at the hospital.  Super fun to say "no maternity coverage thank you very much".  I do get a 40% cash discount.  You know how I love getting a good bargain... :)

Crawfish with Coach

While on Spring Break at Lovey and Pop's house, we got to hang with the Texas Tech coaching staff for a crawfish cookout on St. Patrick's Day.  As much as I am totally an Aggie, Coach, his wife, and the rest of the staff have been super great to us.  They all love Lovey (of course!) and seem to be a very respectable group of folks!

Coach and T scoping out the festivities!

Peek a boo at the glass door was a favorite activity as was being hall monitor as to who was allowed in and out.

His entire dinner consisted of hawaiian bread, spinach dip, and cookies... and maybe some chocolate cake...  Everytime I turned around he had suckered Lovey, Pop, or Coach's wife into another sweet treat!  He does have a way of getting what he wants.  Especially now that he can ask for "one more" or "two" cookies to begin with.

Being outside was his favorite activity of Spring Break.  Lots more room to roam than in our apartment.

Oh, hi Maryn!!!  Seriously, I'm gonna start lying about how much time is left since the look on people's faces says it all.  One of the wives was 37 weeks pregnant compared to my 27.5 weeks pregnant and we seriously looked the same or me a little bigger....

Lovey and T - all smiles!!

He totally would have tried it, but we didn't let him because it was too hot!!

Making new friends left and right!  He had the hots for two pretty brunettes.  One young and hot and the other one older and rich.  He stuck near the rich one...  :)

Only a bunch of Red Raiders would bring out live rattlesnakes for entertainment....  :)

My prince!

Hanging with Pop!

MAMAMAMAMAMAMAMA!

Suzanne (Coach's wife) and T and a cookie.... :)

So grateful for this group of people that work with and love on Lovey everyday!
