FW Children's Museum with Noah (and Krista)

A couple of Fridays ago we met Krista & Noah at the Ross parking lot and combined cars for a trip to the Fort Worth Children's Museum.  Scheduling outings when both babies still take two naps is a feat in and of iteself, but I'm so glad we did it and it worked out.  The boys totally enjoyed themselves, and Krista and I loved having some chatting time on the commute.

I Heart Faces - Smirk Photo Contest

I troll the I Heart Faces website pretty regularly.  They have great tutorials and highlight some awesome and inspirational photogs from across the country.  Every week they have a photo contest.  I have never entered.  I took this picture in my first true "session".  For free and for a friend, but still kinda my first session.  As you can see, I had some lighting issues and learned the dangers of side-lighting first hand, but the expression is just priceless and a "smirk" if I've ever seen one.

Alliance Weekend at the Gaylord

The last weekend in August we headed to the Gaylord for a weekend "stay"cation for Mommy and Daddy's meetings.  Mommy sits on the charity and Daddy is involved in all of the other stuff.  Mommy and I were checking in early so we invited Courtney and Ellasyn to come hang out and have lunch with us.  Even though I really love her, this is as good of a picture as could be accomplished.  Ellasyn was walking everywhere and I was too busy licking the floor.  Literally, licking the floor.

This was my first true hotel experience.  I had such an amazing time, but sure wasn't very interested in my naps.  No wake up call was needed in our room because I was up before 5 am every morning!!

Seriously, how could you make this face take a nap??

First Dairy - YoBaby Yogurt

These pics were taken on 8/24 the night after we got our dairy and soy allergy free report.  Some peach YoBaby yogurt was the first dairy item on the menu.  Delicious!  Since then, he routintely dines on grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, yogurt melts, and yogurt (straight from the fridge or semi-frozen in the freezer).  I am so thankful that the allergy is gone! And so is Travis!
