We are officially moved out of 2708 Monarch Dr. and moved into our apartment (our new home for the next 6 to 7 months). The actual move on Saturday was painless (or as painless as the beat down process could have gone). We've got about 75% of our stuff in storage and are just trying to live with the minimums here in our 874 sf of apartment. It's gonna be fine, and I'm already getting excited to see our new house being built.
I'll be honest. I didn't cry although tears welled up in my eyes a couple of times. There is just something about saying goodbye to the house you brought your baby home to that makes a mama get a little sentimental.
We are so grateful for all the friends and family that helped us along in the process. We ABSOLUTELY could not have done it without you all.

It is very bittersweet moving from your baby's 1st home. I will never forget the day we drove away from our Riesel home. My parents are looking to move from my 1st home in the near future and that will be bittersweet as well.
