How far along?: 33 weeks and still measuring ahead.
Total weight gain: 39 lbs. (blame Savannah)
How big is baby?: Books say almost 4 lbs.
Stretch marks?: They are already showing up on my stomach this go round. It was much later before they actually started creeping onto my stomach last time. They mostly hung out in the love handle region.
Sleep?: Hips are pretty sore and at least 2 pee breaks per night, but T is still sleeping til 6:30ish so I'm still feeling pretty rested.
Best moment this week?: Getting in a bunch of amazon.com orders of all the baby essential stuff for M.
Movement?: She's still a 9pm spaz!
Food cravings?: Chocolate Milk
Labor signs?: None.
Belly button in or out?: Flat.
What I miss: Not sweating.
What I'm looking forward to: Maternity pics.
Milestone: Going ahead and getting scheduled for June 14th as Maryn's birth date. My doc pretty much said put it in pencil because she's not sure I can make it past 40 weeks, but we will see. I'm trying to keep her in until our house gets done!

Savannah #2
After a yummy and "light" lunch on Friday, we walked around for a bit before settling in at The Savannah Tea Room for afternoon tea.
We each enjoyed a pot of tea (B's was earl grey and mine was decaf french vanilla) and shared a spread of cake, cookies, scones, jam, and clotted cream. Brandon doesn't usually drink any caffeine so he was funny kinda hopped up after a pot of tea AND sugar.
Giving his best ... "I'm so cool I drink tea in the afternoon" look.
We were so impressed at all of the activity in Forsyth Park at all hours of the day. It was awesome having our hotel just right across the street.
After we spent about an hour and a half resting in our room, we were ready to go again. This time we were headed to The Lady and Sons. THE reason we were in Savannah in the first place!
This pink satin is really slimming, don't ya think? OHMYWORD!!
The buffet....
Cheese biscuits and hoecakes. I was super excited about the hoecakes - they were yummy and different.
My plate - before
And after ...
Each buffet comes with a choice of three desserts - banana pudding, peach cobbler, or gooey butter cake. I wasn't willing to take any chances on making a wrong decision so I asked our waiter if we could have all three. Who's gonna turn down the pink satin shamu??
Delicious!
After dinner, we walked around some more. B took a picture of the moon. Travis always points out the moon so I think B was doing a little bit of "Somewhere Out There" for him. Tear tear.
Once it got dark, we hopped on our carraige ghost tour (totally snagged discounted tickets on Groupon of Savannah!). It was totally kid friendly so I didn't have any nightmares. It was actually very entertaining, and the coolest tidbit is that in one of the squares there is a guy* buried there who absolutely hated the Spanish Moss, and legend says, that his ghost keeps that particular square totally free of the moss. Not sure who actually is behind it, but sure enough, that square didn't have a speck of the stuff in any of the huge trees.
*By guy, I mean some general or leader man super important to civil war/Savannah/some other historical blah blah, but that I totally cannot remember.

Savannah #1
We had a fabulous trip full of sight-seeing, adult conversation, relaxing, and, of course, eating! Our pictures will be in chronological order and about every other one is food related. Go figure!
Peach pecan french toast - a great way to start off a vacay! We stayed at The Mansion on Forsyth Park thru a Luxury Link package. Super nice, hip, and the food was excellent.
Spanish moss (which, by the way, is neither Spanish nor moss) covers the trees.
We started off our sight-seeing adventure on a tour trolley (the wrong one, but it all worked out!). We brought the average age down about 30 years. Lots of neat architecture and history in Savannah, but let's be honest, I'm just here for the food!
Confederate jasmine - the smell was incredible.
One of Savannah's claims to fame is the presence of 22 squares within the historic district. We had such a great time walking to each one and then spending some time on the benches enjoying the beautiful weather and great company!
B doing his Forrest Gump. The bench they actually used is in the visitor's center or something, but we just pretended.
Savannah Honey Bee Company - tasty!
B's new friend. Better than chiggars which apparently live in the Spanish Moss.
Our lunch spot per Courtney's mama's recommendation!
My favorite food item of the trip was the BLT Salad (basically a composed salad with fried green tomatoes, bacon, lettuce, and delicious homemade ranch dressing. It has even appeared on Food Network's "Best thing I ever ate" show.
Some more pics inside the Pink House.
A picture of one of the square signage and our "feet" - well at least B's feet.

Babymoon
When this posts, we should be enjoying a little adult time in Savannah, GA. The last time we left Travis for a weekend was 10/10/10, and he took his first steps. Who knows what he will be up to this weekend?!?
This will be our last adult-only weekend as a family of three. In what seems to be a blink of an eye, we will be blessed to be a family of four. There are days where I feel like I'm totally ready to tackle "two under two" and other days where I can't even imagine what its gonna be like (I picture a three-ring circus of sorts where I end up locked in the closet). As much as I'm kind of a pregnancy complainer, I feel so blessed that God took all of the stress of "trying" away from us this go round. That puts our kids closer together than I had worked out in my perfect 10-year plan, but God has a funny way of reminding you who is in charge. I am so glad that we didn't have any of the stress and waiting this go round, and I gotta have faith in my God that he wouldn't give us something we couldn't handle. (Although, I do think God has an amazing sense of humor - check back in 15 years). I love that Brandon is so excited (and not near as freaked out as I am), and the whole family (blood relatives, friends, and church) is ready to support us in ways that only amazing families do.
Maryn, we are so excited for your safe and healthy arrival on or around June 11th (give or take a little based on our house schedule - thankyouverymuch) and are looking forward to seeing your sweet face. We can't wait for you to meet your mommy, daddy, and your big brother. We think he is gonna be an amazing "Big Brother". He loves saying sister ("shissher") and loving on mama's growing belly. I just suggest that you don't mess with his "babies."
Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. ~Marc Brown
Raising "babies" is hard work. :)
